959 launches a collection of bags made entirely out of recycled seatbelts. 50 years since it first came into use the traditional seatbelt has found itself a new role in life with the new 959 bag range. The Company has kept the idea of the seatbelt whilst transforming it into a collection of bags made entirely out of material recovered from scrap yards.

The data sculpture Fundament shows the allocation of the world’s gross domestic product in comparison to the worldwide derivatives volume. The statistical data was aquired from the CIA World Factbook and the International Monetary Fund.
Reflection is a sound data sculpture, which was inspired by and derived from the musical piece by Frans de Waard of the same title.

The Grid Chair series explores the relationship between computer generated and classical forms. The chairs are composed of a welded steel frame fused with a black-walnut seat, and the R60 chair (top) has a seat of clear polycarbonate The piece is on show at the Prugio Gallery in Seoul, South Korea.

“The challenge in this project, was to mix the concept of traditional ceramics, a primitive material with long history in many cultures, with the unique properties high tech ceramics posses like their extreme hardness, scratch- and abrasion-resistance, skin friendliness and their unique sensuous tactility. A briefcase is the medium to explore the potentials of this combination”.

We have the perfect spot to erect this tiny house. The concept is from the Polish architectual company Front Architects. The design was inspired by highway billboards. The house is very small at only 27 square meters, but perfect for that weekend get-away.
