This Michelin three-star restaurant is the holy grail of gastronomy; hard to reach, El Bulli hangs on the edge of Cala Montjoi, a turquoise bay flanked by vast pines. When in Milan, its well worth a visit to the studio of Achille Castiglioni, now a museum. Here, he worked on the design of some 150 products some are now part of the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection in New York.

The Paris based, Swiss artist Felice Varini works with a space’s reality and where it appears fragmented when viewed from all other angles. Working with the factual reality of existing architectural space, both interior and exterior. His site-specific paintings intervene on the spaces in the exact condition they were found, highlighting the architecture as opposed to concealing it.
Eos Airlines, whose first flight took place in 2005, has filed for bankruptcy. The airline purchased three Boeing 757s and reconfigured the with just 48 business-class seats, fully-flat, of course. The press loved the concept of an all business class airline with great service — flying profitable international routes, but critics saw more than a few holes (refurbishing out of date planes for one).
