Saya Chair by Lievore Altherr Molina for Arper

To be presented at the upcoming Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, the Saya Chair is an iconic wooden chair, with a highly distinctive profile, available in three different wood colours and lacquered in various natural shades. It can be used in both public and private spaces, and will be available with wooden legs or chromed steel legs.

    Being the chair lover I am, I must say this chair will be added to my list of faves.

    I like the chair but nothing has been done to solve the problem of the small connector between seat and back. Why do you think Arne Jacobsen, who created the largest body of classic chairs in this vocabulary, never used a small necked form? It will break very quickly.
